In the 27thth minute of the game Claudinei Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CA Portugália were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Limoeiro-PE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernandinho Barral took the corner. CA Portugália's Norbert Tamulewicz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ian Melo in the 30 minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Tomás Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes of play, CA Portugália's Mario Jesus Jardel made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniël De Goeij was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40thth minute of the game Mario Jesus Jardel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernandinho Barral made a great header on CA Portugália's corner, it was just that Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij managed to reach the ball for a save. Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jesus Jardel in the 46th minute of play. Mario Jesus Jardel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniël De Goeij read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ian Melo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. CA Portugália's Gombal Sierra suffered a concussion in the 55th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The supporters of CA Portugália booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Neto in the 62nd minute of play forced CA Portugália's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Tasso came free, but Daniël De Goeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Soberano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Neto in the 66th minute of play. Daniël De Goeij came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Portugália's Claudinei Tasso. But to his dismay, Claudinei Tasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Limoeiro-PE FC from getting a goal against them. Mario Jesus Jardel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Daniël De Goeij tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Raphael Macedo hit a great ball. Mario Jesus Jardel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniël De Goeij came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Jesus Jardel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 79th minute. CA Portugália's Mario Jesus Jardel pulled a muscle in his back after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 庄翀竞 during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 庄翀竞 kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Daniël De Goeij made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Carlos Fernando dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. The CA Portugália supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CA Portugália would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
