The Retumbante FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Leendert Looze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilmer Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Kun Mo in the 20th minute of play. Wilmer Gallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvard Gråberg's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute of the match São Paulo Leste F.C. got a corner. Retumbante FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stanislaw Turacki ran over to the corner to take the kick. Retumbante FC's Wilmer Gallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Coutinho in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Mellberg in the 32nd minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Wilmer Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basílio Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basílio Cearense hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Wilmer Gallo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo Leste F.C.. Evaristo Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Antonio in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, La Ele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Belmiro Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Retumbante FC's Wilmer Gallo got control of the ball when Edvard Gråberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Edvard Gråberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
