In the 14thth minute of the game Juarês Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renan Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 28th minute João Carlos Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Donato couldn't finish the play. After 56 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin Steckamp. Robin Steckamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Melo having to interfere. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when A.A. Francana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Renan Melo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Renan Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Vianna in the 68th minute of the match. Cris Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Boström, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Charlie Boström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A. Francana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Boström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charlie Boström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cris Courtois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
