Xacintu Magadan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Durval Messias made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Osmundsen in the 22nd minute of play forced Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Durval Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a well-played corner which Jonas Velloso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Garro made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Darren Verlet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maraponga FAC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darren Verlet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mané Andrade had great luck who in the 61stth minute grab hold of the ball when 胡亦旭 from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cacá Britovskiy got free with Mané Andrade in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 69 in the game by Rodrigo Garro from a close distance when the talented Mané Andrade managed to make a qualified save. Maraponga FAC's players were relieved. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Maraponga FAC booed when Coritiba Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Andrade made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Rodrigo Garro sent off a good shot on target. Durval Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Osmundsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Cacá Britovskiy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Andrade. Maraponga FAC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cacá Britovskiy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Maraponga FAC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
