In the 7th minute 楚政潮 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Asier came free, but Froilan Jacob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Leones FC got a corner. Formentera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dante Mannie ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dante Mannie got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Froilan Jacob quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 13 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Peyo. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Godfredo Ascencio with Jaime Mundo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Martin Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, 楚政潮 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Ronconi in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Formentera's 楚政潮 got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Leonardo Poz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froilan Jacob skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Fausto Ronconi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Ronconi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Asier came free, but Froilan Jacob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leones FC's Martin Asier in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Froilan Jacob in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Justino Hondo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Formentera's Justino Hondo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jaime Mundo, made in the 46th minute of the game. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 楚政潮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 楚政潮 was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Jaime Mundo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Formentera's Justino Hondo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 52nd minute, Mariano Peyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Formentera's attentive Justino Hondo managed to snatch the ball when Jaime Mundo made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. After having played for 58 minutes, Martin Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Asier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Formentera's Justino Hondo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jaime Mundo, made in the 60th minute of the game. Jaime Mundo made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Martin Asier however managed to control. Osvaldo Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Leopoldo Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Asier in the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Mariano Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Formentera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
