Tiburcio Seber took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Llorienzo. Elvio Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Furlan came free, but Pablo Mei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Balesio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Seber spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Chacabuco FC's goal. Pablo Mei made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Francisco Balesio sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Mei made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Salvador Luzaide sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd match minute, Plaza Jewell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Cresconio to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Banegas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pablo Mei. Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Plaza Jewell's Fabio Cresconio got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Balesio. Chacabuco FC's Elvio Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Seber in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Chacabuco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Seber came free, but Elvio Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Plaza Jewell's Tiburcio Seber in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chacabuco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Aristides Iratxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 minutes of play, Plaza Jewell's Tiburcio Seber made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Llorienzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elvio Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Seber in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Banegas in the 41st minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Mei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Balesio in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Balesio. In the 46th minute Chacabuco FC were awarded a corner. Fernan Banegas went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half Plaza Jewell were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torsten Vallengren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Jefferson Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Mei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tiburcio Seber sped through Chacabuco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elvio Llorienzo. Chacabuco FC's Elvio Llorienzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Chacabuco FC from getting a goal against them. Plaza Jewell's Pablo Mei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Victoro in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Cresconio got free with Elvio Llorienzo in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvio Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Furlan in the 73rd minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Furlan came free, but Pablo Mei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Llorienzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Seber's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute of the match, Fabio Cresconio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elvio Llorienzo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabio Cresconio made a great header on Plaza Jewell's corner, it was just that Chacabuco FC's Elvio Llorienzo managed to reach the ball for a save. Aristides Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Mei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Balesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Chacabuco FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Plaza Jewell's performance. The match ended with a win for Plaza Jewell.
