Vélez Fútbol Club's Dionisio Quentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Ortiz in the 12th minute of play. Enrique Bologna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Eneto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by NANO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conrado Eneto was slow to take the kick. During this time Vélez Fútbol Club's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Cristiano Rolando managed to get in a good position for a shot. NANO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Rolando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Bologna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Dantae in the 37th minute of the match. With a little luck, Vélez Fútbol Club's Dionisio Quentin got control of the ball when Cristiano Rolando tried to sneak it across the goal line.
