Bruno Conti was slow to take the kick. During this time San Ciro Utd's players had a chance to rest. San Ciro Utd's Grigor Beslimov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Korneliusz Brak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Epifanio Beila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Benvide, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Epifanio Beila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremey Vanooteghem went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Marco Van Der Taelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Van Der Taelen in the 17th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Korneliusz Brak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Scripcaru. If Marco Van Der Taelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Van Der Taelen came free, but Korneliusz Brak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quitilipi's Korneliusz Brak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Van Der Taelen in the 28th minute of play. San Ciro Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bruno Conti in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes Quitilipi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Conti who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to San Ciro Utd's Marco Van Der Taelen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marco Van Der Taelen scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Korneliusz Brak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Jeremey Vanooteghem reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Epifanio Beila. The goal made the score 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremey Vanooteghem to make the kick off. Marco Van Der Taelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Korneliusz Brak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of San Ciro Utd booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Haritzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Marco Van Der Taelen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Ciro Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Van Der Taelen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingo Haritzeder hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Van Der Taelen in the 60th managed to get into a good position. San Ciro Utd were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Quitilipi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bruno Conti took the corner. Bruno Conti made a great header on San Ciro Utd's corner, it was just that Quitilipi's Korneliusz Brak managed to reach the ball for a save. Quitilipi's Korneliusz Brak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Quitilipi from getting a goal against them. Epifanio Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremey Vanooteghem in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Van Der Taelen in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Korneliusz Brak saved Quitilipi from getting behind. Marco Van Der Taelen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Korneliusz Brak having to make a save. Korneliusz Brak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Van Der Taelen in the 90th minute of the match. Quitilipi's Korneliusz Brak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Van Der Taelen in the 91st minute of play. Epifanio Beila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremey Vanooteghem, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Nemesio Opilano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quitilipi had won after a very even match.
