Marcial Licerio came out of the goal and Grzegorz Budacz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, La Coruña FC's Elari Eesti got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Marcial Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Pingos Futbol Club defense, Alberto Lawrence kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Licerio. The Pingos Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Licerio should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Ediberto Leal in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pingos Futbol Club's Alejo Osoitz. Moises Francho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Matteo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elari Eesti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
