The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Bernabel during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jürgen Sander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Selmo having to make a save. ★ IL TORO ★'s Amado Conrao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Ignado in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Jürgen Sander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, ★ IL TORO ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Ignado came free, but Amado Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Cordero got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vinicio Bernabel. Jürgen Sander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Pereyra struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Emilio Selmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★ IL TORO ★. After 42 minutes, Lorenzo Ramirez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ★ IL TORO ★ and the Amaducci players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Ignado to make the kick off. A collision led to ★ IL TORO ★ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Rosendo Gonzalez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Ignado in the 55th minute of play forced ★ IL TORO ★'s goalkeeper Amado Conrao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, ★ IL TORO ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Pereyra to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Oro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Amado Conrao made a huge save. After 66 played minutes ★ IL TORO ★ got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Gonzalez. When Severo Gonzalez fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★ IL TORO ★'s protests and gave Severo Gonzalez a yellow card for diving instead. Jürgen Sander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute.
