Guaberto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Tarchilă in the 3rd minute of the match. Lázaro Chap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Stabbe having to interfere. In the 8th minute Sebastian Tarchilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Chap's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Samuel Stabbe firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 13th minute Sebastian Tarchilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Maxim Dăianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Cucao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxim Dăianu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute Big Benne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Big Benne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guaberto Cucao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Dăianu in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Mainumby's Ladislao Serafo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Stabbe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 37 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Tarchilă came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Cucao came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Diablos Rojos's Big Benne. But to his dismay, Big Benne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Mainumby:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Diablos Rojos:s goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Chap made a kick off. Big Benne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Guaberto Cucao made a huge save. Sebastian Tarchilă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Guaberto Cucao made a huge save. In the 55th minute Maxim Dăianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Big Benne in the 56th minute of play. Norberto Ibon hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Dăianu in the 61st minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Diablos Rojos were awarded a corner. Maxim Dăianu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Diablos Rojos's Big Benne getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 66th play minutes Sebastian Tarchilă shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Guaberto Cucao and just under the crossbar into goal. Guaberto Cucao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Tarchilă in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Americo Fliz got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Prospero Sancho hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Sebastian Tarchilă took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Guaberto Cucao to make any attempt to save it. Guaberto Cucao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Tarchilă in the 79th minute. Sebastian Tarchilă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Guaberto Cucao made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Tarchilă got free with Guaberto Cucao in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by David Isusko. 95 minutes into the game, Justino Estavan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mainumby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diablos Rojos the free kick. When the match was over Diablos Rojos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mainumby throughout the match.
