After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Denis Chano managed to get in a good position for a shot. XENEIXES FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Chano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orvar Bäckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Chano in the 8th minute of play. Denis Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Bäckström having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Denis Chano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Bäckström was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Ixaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Orvar Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Chano in the 19th minute of the match. If Jeremias Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Ixaka scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orvar Bäckström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. XENEIXES FC's Damazy Kinic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Rubio in the 26th minute of play. Orvar Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Ixaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, XENEIXES FC's Alin Pârvan got a free kick in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Radomir Ratulowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basavilbaso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XENEIXES FC the free kick. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Basavilbaso FC! Orvar Bäckström had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Jeremias Ixaka's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Vyacheslav Konopatov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Bäckström having to interfere. Damazy Kinic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Basavilbaso FC's Damazy Kinic threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ruben Gentza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th minute, Basavilbaso FC's Henric Springfält dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vyacheslav Konopatov was the one to do the kick off. Orvar Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vyacheslav Konopatov in the 56th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Basavilbaso FC's Henric Springfält nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damazy Kinic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. XENEIXES FC made a substitution. Ovidio Jakobe replaced Alin Pârvan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Chano in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Bäckström saved Basavilbaso FC from getting behind. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vyacheslav Konopatov, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vyacheslav Konopatov in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vyacheslav Konopatov came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, XENEIXES FC's Jeremias Ixaka ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orvar Bäckström. Orvar Bäckström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. With a little luck, Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström got control of the ball when Denis Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as XENEIXES FC's Denis Chano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orvar Bäckström. That made the score 2-3 after 79 minutes of play. In the 84th minute XENEIXES FC were awarded a corner. Jeremias Ixaka went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jeremias Ixaka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orvar Bäckström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Orvar Bäckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vyacheslav Konopatov's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, XENEIXES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Gentza came free, but Damazy Kinic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched XENEIXES FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
