In the 26th minute Man Tas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Bidun in the 28th minute of play. Tobias Elizardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albino Oso went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Man Tas might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Romo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Man Tas ran back to his position shaking his head. Arias Fabelo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Oso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Man Tas struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jacobo Romo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento de Resistencia. Kiril Ivkov kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Jacobo Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Man Tas in the 57th minute of play. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Henning Martinsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fertus Oropesa, made in the 58th minute of the game. Henning Martinsson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Jacobo Romo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
