Sarmiento de Resistencia were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Basavilbaso FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bogumil Spychalski took the corner. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Man Tas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Orvar Bäckström to make any attempt to save it. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Glad in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström got control of the ball when Man Tas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Man Tas came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bogumil Spychalski came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogumil Spychalski couldn't finish the play. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Rubio in the 32nd minute of play. Man Tas came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Orvar Bäckström could save by the left post. Henric Springfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tobias Elizardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Springfält in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Man Tas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Rubio made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Man Tas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Man Tas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Man Tas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orvar Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 60th match minute, Basavilbaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Van den Gans to maneuver through the defense. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alex Herrero was substituted for Man Tas. 64 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Herrero came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Herrero in the 67th minute of play forced Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo got control of the ball when Clemente Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orvar Bäckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Herrero's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orvar Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Herrero in the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Alex Herrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Herrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Herrero in the 90th minute of play. Alex Herrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Orvar Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
