Eulalio Jakes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Artizar scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Galip Öveç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eulalio Jakes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Son Son's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Javiar in the 26th minute of play forced La Ballenera's goalkeeper Eulalio Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Jakes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Geronimo Isauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Jakes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Galip Öveç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Artizar in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Artizar made a kick off. After 51st play minutes Son Son shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Eulalio Jakes and just under the crossbar into goal. Desiderio Fagondo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Eulalio Jakes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Son Son hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Clemente Karlo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Ballenera's protests and gave Clemente Karlo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Ballenera's Clemente Karlo got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th match minute, La Ballenera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Ubendu to maneuver through the defense. Son Son who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Eulalio Jakes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. La Ballenera's Eulalio Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Martxel in the 68th minute of play. A hard shot 71 in the game by Son Son from a close distance when the talented Eulalio Jakes managed to make a qualified save. La Ballenera's players were relieved. The Rincón de los Sauces AFC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Son Son looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute Son Son shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Justino Javiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Ballenera's Eulalio Jakes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Son Son got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 minutes, Son Son made it 1-7 with a short kick to the right side. La Ballenera's Eulalio Jakes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Son Son could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Eulalio Jakes made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Justino Javiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rincón de los Sauces AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Eulalio Jakes was a little too slow when Son Son got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-9. Rincón de los Sauces AFC played a much better game than La Ballenera and deserved their victory. The La Ballenera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
