With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven de Zwaan in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaan Snow saved Viedma FC from getting behind. Viedma FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Argentinos Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ovidio Etxeberri took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ismael Lander got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rigoberto Nazario quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos Juniors's zone, Kemalettin Torhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Nazario came out of the goal and Kemalettin Torhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kemalettin Torhan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kemalettin Torhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rigoberto Nazario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kemalettin Torhan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nazario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Sven de Zwaan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kaan Snow. That made the score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. Sven de Zwaan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Kaan Snow when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Kemalettin Torhan came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes in the game Celedonio Madeo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sven de Zwaan. Sven de Zwaan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Kaan Snow when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 67 minutes into the game, Celedonio Madeo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Viedma FC's Ovidio Etxeberri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 70 minutes into the game, Celedonio Madeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argentinos Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viedma FC the free kick. Celedonio Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Kaan Snow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Aires's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The corner led Argentinos Juniors's Leon Richie to fire away a dangerous shot which Kaan Snow despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Viedma FC's Kaan Snow proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Viedma FC from getting a goal against them. If Sven de Zwaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Celedonio Madeo in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Viedma FC's Ovidio Etxeberri. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bilge Üstüner in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Nazario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Viedma FC's Cristo Cordaro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Viedma FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
