After 12 minutes, Tobias Mino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albiceleste F.C. and the Los Diablos Rojos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Albiceleste F.C.'s Tobias Mino got a free kick in the 12th minute. Tobias Minos short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Rogelio Barbosa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Generoso Mendebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Artizar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Cloyo in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Artizar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tobias Mino came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Albiceleste F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Mino couldn't finish the play. Tobias Mino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rogelio Barbosa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute Fragiskos Koukoulekis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Artizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Timoteo Nofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albiceleste F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Diablos Rojos the free kick. A collision led to Albiceleste F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Timoteo Nofre hit a great ball. Marco Artal kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Maximo Cloyo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Albiceleste F.C.'s Clemente Artizar. Clemente Artizar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogelio Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Mino in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Maximo Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Artizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Cloyo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Artizar saved Albiceleste F.C. from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Javier Jaunzuria made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Artizar. Albiceleste F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rogelio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Mino in the 60th minute of play. Leonel Franco hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes Los Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Franco. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Maximiliano Quilino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albiceleste F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Quilino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timoteo Nofre got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 68th match minute, Albiceleste F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Nofre to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Los Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ricardo Sidro hit a great ball. Maximo Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Artizar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albiceleste F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Maximo Cloyo scored to the left of an out of position Clemente Artizar, making the score, 0-5. The supporters of Los Diablos Rojos booed when Albiceleste F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Jaunzuria got free with Clemente Artizar in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Albiceleste F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Diablos Rojos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
