After 11 played minutes Depor Alex Return got a freekick which was hit by Randle Barry. Federico Checa made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Anastasio Karlo sent off a good shot on target. Anastasio Karlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Federico Checa made a huge save. san isidro were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Depor Alex Return's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Delmar Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind san isidro's goalkeeper Delmar Vermudo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38thth minute of the game Armando Baraquiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but san isidro's Delmar Vermudo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Depor Alex Return got a corner. san isidro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Despite this Delmar Vermudo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gösta Kihlberg sped through Depor Alex Return's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Federico Checa. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gösta Kihlberg to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Gösta Kihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Checa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Armando Baraquiel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Vermudo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Baraquiel in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Vermudo saved san isidro from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Depor Alex Return's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Giraldo came free, but Federico Checa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Baraquiel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Delmar Vermudo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 85 played minutes Depor Alex Return got a freekick which was hit by Randle Barry. Federico Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Kihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. There was no doubt that san isidro were the better team. san isidro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
