An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Calleri in the 3rd minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Filomeno Atarrabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Mendieta hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Anier Pereyra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Pereyra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Harkaitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filomeno Atarrabi. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Jonathan Calleri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Atarrabi having to make a save. In the 16th minute Jonathan Calleri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Calleri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filomeno Atarrabi came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Arthur Morgan´s Club's Clodoveo Feliz. But to his dismay, Clodoveo Feliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Arthur Morgan´s Club's Jonathan Calleri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Atarrabi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's zone, Bernt Collin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Atarrabi came out of the goal and Bernt Collin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Arthur Morgan´s Club's Sergio Mergildo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Samuel Buinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Bastia in the 30th minute of the match. Arnaldo Furlan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Saturnino Bastia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Bastia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Arthur Morgan´s Club getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sergio Mergildo hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Bastia was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Feliz came free, but Filomeno Atarrabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Atarrabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Calleri in the 60th minute of play. Arthur Morgan´s Club's Samuel Buinton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Arthur Morgan´s Club from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the game, Sergio Mergildo threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Aureliano Hunfredo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 76th minute Saturnino Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Buinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Calleri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Atarrabi was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Arnaldo Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Arthur Morgan´s Club's Freddy Barros was substituted for Manuel Gomar. Arthur Morgan´s Club's Justino Urdaspal was substituted for Clodoveo Feliz. Jonathan Calleri struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Filomeno Atarrabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arthur Morgan´s Club. Jonathan Calleri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnaldo Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Jonathan Calleri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filomeno Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Calleri in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arthur Morgan´s Club.
