Eugène Meissonnier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Lu Hong Yuan made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Irrintzi in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Gonzales saved GrondofiSu FC from getting behind. Velezcamp's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Eustaquio Laurendi scored to the left of an out of position Lu Hong Yuan, making the score, 1-0. In the 17th minute Artemio Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lu Hong Yuan made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Eustaquio Laurendi sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, GrondofiSu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Mano to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Pierres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Pierres in the 30th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Andres Irrintzi sped through GrondofiSu FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isidoro Gonzales. In the 35thth minute of the game Andres Irrintzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GrondofiSu FC's Isidoro Gonzales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoro Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Zacarias Mano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lu Hong Yuan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Laurendi got free with Lu Hong Yuan in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Berbiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lu Hong Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugène Meissonnier in the 52nd minute of the match. If Artemio Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to GrondofiSu FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Osvaldo Infante hit a great ball. The supporters of GrondofiSu FC booed when Velezcamp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Pierres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Gonzales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Irrintzi in the 61st minute. If Artemio Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isidoro Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Irrintzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Velezcamp's Andres Irrintzi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isidoro Gonzales. That made the score 1-2 after 76 minutes of play. Miguel Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Daniel Ştefănucă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Hong Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Velezcamp's goal looked a bit too open when Eugène Meissonnier came free, but Lu Hong Yuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugène Meissonnier took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lu Hong Yuan. Lu Hong Yuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Velezcamp succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though GrondofiSu FC had controlled the match.
