In the 14th minute, Victoriano Chabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermanno Valeri, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Cai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Sotil was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Azubeli in the 21st minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Virgilio Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Cai came free, but Virgilio Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Calisto hit a great ball. When Adolfo Libertad fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Mitre's protests and gave Adolfo Libertad a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Libertad kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Club Pumas Serranos FC's Ermanno Valeri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Villa Mitre. When Filomeno Bastiaro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Club Pumas Serranos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Bastiaro couldn't finish the play. Virgilio Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Bastiaro in the 45th minute of play.

Club Pumas Serranos FC's Aríel Etchegaray was substituted for Genaro Calisto. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Lalla to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Aaron Guifre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Pumas Serranos FC's Xie Ning Jun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adolfo Ramond's late challenge caught a Club Pumas Serranos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Ramond helped the player get up and apologised. Adolfo Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Ciriaco Azubeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Sotil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Lalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Xie Ning Jun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Mateo in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil got control of the ball when Filomeno Bastiaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Mitre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ermanno Valeri was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Pumas Serranos FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Ciriaco Azubeli drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Villa Mitre's goalkeeper. Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Azubeli in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Aríel Etchegaray tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Virgilio Sotil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ciriaco Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Azubeli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Virgilio Sotil made a huge save. Gaspar Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
