The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of La Banda del Tinto booed when Cosquín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Donio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Cordara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Matteo in the 8th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's Paulino Bero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Harriet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Horacio Nataniel took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Cordara. Cristo Cordara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's Paulino Bero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Harriet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristo Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Matteo in the 21st minute of play. Marcelo Matteo's late challenge caught a La Banda del Tinto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Matteo helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Cosquín FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Matteo. 25 minutes into the game, Horacio Nataniel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cristo Cordara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Cosquín FC booed when La Banda del Tinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Zárate didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Paulino Bero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernabe Harriet. The goal made the score 1-2. The La Banda del Tinto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cosquín FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horacio Nataniel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Isaias Rio in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Banda del Tinto's Fidel Zárate. A sloppy throw-in by Rolando Argi in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cosquín FC's Isaias Rio. After a rather tough play, La Banda del Tinto's Wang Shu Guang got a free kick in the 55th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Baldomiro Inocente put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bernabe Harriet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Nataniel in the 64th minute of play forced La Banda del Tinto's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Paulino Bero put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bernabe Harriet. 69 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's Paulino Bero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Harriet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the La Banda del Tinto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
