Cosquín FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fidel Zárate ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to La Banda del Tinto's Rolando Argi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 12 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's Paulino Bero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Harriet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Cordara having to interfere. In the 17th minute Paulino Bero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Baldomiro Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Rio made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Matias Vincent. Cristo Cordara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Matteo in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on La Banda del Tinto's corner Fidel Zárate fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernabe Harriet quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Nataniel in the 40th minute of play forced La Banda del Tinto's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Zárate kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Baldomiro Inocente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosquín FC's Bernabe Harriet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horacio Nataniel to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Banda del Tinto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marciano Araoz was slow to take the kick. During this time Cosquín FC's players had a chance to rest. Cosquín FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after La Banda del Tinto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marciano Araoz took the corner. Matias Vincent made a great header on Cosquín FC's corner, it was just that La Banda del Tinto's Cristo Cordara managed to reach the ball for a save. After 75 played minutes Cosquín FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Brais. In the 77th minute, Paulino Bero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernabe Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Bero, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Bernabe Harriet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomiro Inocente in the 87th minute. Bernabe Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Bero in the 91st minute of play. The Cosquín FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Banda del Tinto had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
