Spectators: 141 (Terracing: 107, Seating: 32, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeronimo Errapel started the match with the kick off. Soflov FC's Patricio Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Errapel in the 3rd minute of play. Feliks Nieruchliwy came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro Cordearo could save by the left post. 13 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Jeronimo Errapel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Salamon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Godfredo Salomone made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Augusto Procopio however managed to control. Feliks Nieruchliwy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Cordearo having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Percy Romero. Marco Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mauro Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bonifacio Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in SOUTH THUNDER's zone, Feliks Nieruchliwy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Cordearo came out of the goal and Feliks Nieruchliwy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half SOUTH THUNDER were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Godfredo Salomone hit a great ball. Feliks Nieruchliwy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Cordearo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Feliks Nieruchliwy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soflov FC and the SOUTH THUNDER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Feliks Nieruchliwy kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Bonifacio Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliks Nieruchliwy hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Feliks Nieruchliwy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Cordearo having to make a save. In the 76th minute Bonifacio Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match SOUTH THUNDER got a corner. Soflov FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeronimo Errapel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Enzo Diaz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Emesto in the 82nd minute of play forced Soflov FC's goalkeeper Patricio Salamon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Errapel notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Soflov FC's Patricio Salamon. Patricio Salamon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SOUTH THUNDER made a substitution. Van Field replaced Bonifacio Arias. 93 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Feliks Nieruchliwy came free, but Mauro Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Feliks Nieruchliwy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute of the game Godfredo Salomone made a throw-in which Santiago Bautista played forward. When the final whistle sounded SOUTH THUNDER left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Soflov FC.
