Punua's Adan Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Easton in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Mihai Ozon lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Fabio Betadur. Adan Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Easton in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Prospero Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Gotzon in the 37th minute of the match. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save LA DEL MONO from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute Vince Easton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Punua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Santo to maneuver through the defense. Zhuang Yang hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Gotzon to make the kick off. Adan Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Easton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Gotzon in the 56th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adan Rafel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Santo came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Elpidio Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Santo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fabio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Santo in the 79th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Guillelmo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vince Easton got free with Adan Rafel in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 88 played minutes Punua got a freekick which was hit by Christian Lehoi. LA DEL MONO's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Punua had won, even though LA DEL MONO had held more of the ball.
