In the 10th match minute, Aguirres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Paez to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Paez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Aguirres's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Apolo Paez came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Aguirres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Paez couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Islas Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Mario Urti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brock Friend. In the 18th play minute Brock Friend came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mario Urti. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Paez in the 21st minute of play forced Islas Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Mario Urti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brock Friends short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Mario Urti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 30 minutes into the game, Aguirres's Brock Friend nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Urti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 33 minutes into the game, Apolo Paez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Urti. Apolo Paez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Brock Friend did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Mario Urti 37 minutes into the match. Apolo Paez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Urti came out and tried to block the shot, but Apolo Paez slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Islas Malvinas Argentinas's zone, Apolo Paez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Urti came out of the goal and Apolo Paez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Paez was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes Islas Malvinas Argentinas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Brock Friend who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Brock Friend managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguirres's supporters rose to their feet, but Brock Friend was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Urti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Apolo Paez put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mario Urti. The supporters of Islas Malvinas Argentinas booed when Aguirres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Urti came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Aguirres's Brock Friend. But to his dismay, Brock Friend quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After 64 minutes, Apolo Paez made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side.
