When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Rik made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Sanson during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Lastenia FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Sanson. The audience was convinced that Fernando Peruxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliciano Goyo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The Lastenia FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Hacha y Tiza FC to win.
