After having played for 17 minutes, Lasse Delvig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALMA GUERREIRA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lasse Delvig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nonatos United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José San Martín was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lasse Delvig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerzy Giejda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nonatos United's Hélder Mandrak got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lauro Proença was the one to do the kick off. José San Martín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerzy Giejda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lasse Delvig went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, José San Martín had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerzy Giejda. Nonatos United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José San Martín was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 58 minutes into the game, José San Martín cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jerzy Giejda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Casemiro De Paul hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Delfim Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jerzy Giejda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerzy Giejda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José San Martín in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute José San Martín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Giejda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Giejda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José San Martín, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. José San Martín might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerzy Giejda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some careless play in the Nonatos United defense, Lasse Delvig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Giejda.
