Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kılıçalp Akgün in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Augusto Consalvi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haji Sarap. Augusto Consalvi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Marino Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haji Sarap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joinville City - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patrick Vidal was slow to take the kick. During this time Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's players had a chance to rest. Marino Montrelle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Haji Sarap made a huge save. Haji Sarap made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Marino Montrelle sent off a good shot on target. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Consalvi in the 37th minute of play. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Joinville City - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Haji Sarap was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Marino Montrelle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marino Montrelle really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. If Augusto Consalvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 48th minute of play forced Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's goalkeeper João Adolfo Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

A sloppy throw-in by Valdemar Brolin in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Mbaka N'Diaye. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Marius Mititel got a free kick in the 55th minute. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Marcus Allbäck replaced Bernardino Llorenc. After some careless play in the Joinville City - FSCMZ defense, Marino Montrelle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haji Sarap. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haji Sarap should have stopped the shot. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER made a substitution. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER got a corner. Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrick Vidal ran over to the corner to take the kick. 90 minutes into the match, George Pogba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Adolfo Lago. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Pogba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Marcus Allbäck sped through Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Adolfo Lago.
