Cleto Gonza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Pereira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Família Ressaca MZ's Cleto Gonza. Cleto Gonza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Família Ressaca MZ's Jimmie Vikström got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Vasco Arruabarrena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Pereira came free, but Cleto Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Família Ressaca MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nuno Cardoso was slow to take the kick. During this time Lobo Guará's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Lobo Guará's Kokki Mon to fire away a dangerous shot which Cleto Gonza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Cardoso in the 26th minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Cleto Gonza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho do Vale in the 27th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Centenales in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Napoleon Biegun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Família Ressaca MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobo Guará the free kick. Cleto Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Família Ressaca MZ getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ronaldinho do Vale hit a great ball. Berker Başhekim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Gonza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Feng Yang's late challenge caught a Lobo Guará's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feng Yang helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Família Ressaca MZ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Feng Yang hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Nuno Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. Cleto Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berker Başhekim in the 52nd minute of play. Cleto Gonza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berker Başhekim's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Daniel Anaya made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ronaldinho do Vale sent off a good shot on target. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Aykut Adar replaced Nuno Cardoso. Família Ressaca MZ were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Lobo Guará's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vasco Arruabarrena took the corner. After taking down the ball on Família Ressaca MZ's corner Vasco Arruabarrena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Anaya quite easily take care of the ball. Nando Barbosa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Natalio Centenales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Anaya was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Geovanni Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Vlad Imperiale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Sancar Gazel got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ciro de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Gonza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes Família Ressaca MZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nando Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Berker Başhekim heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Cleto Gonza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lobo Guará's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nando Barbosa in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute, Sancar Gazel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lobo Guará fans cheered their team off the field, for while Família Ressaca MZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
