The audience thought a goal was coming when Baturhan Oytun got free with Raimundo Braga in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Vladimir de Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raimundo Braga. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Raimundo Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guga Trancoso in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Santiago Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Chiriacescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo de Lara in the 17th minute of play forced PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Iurie Chiriacescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandinho Mesquita came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raimundo Braga could save by the left post. PIAUÍ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guga Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Braga made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Vladimir de Sena sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Marcinho Mineiro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of PIAUÍ FC's Iurie Chiriacescu. Iurie Chiriacescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iurie Chiriacescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Cidro in the 47th minute of play. The PIAUÍ FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Florestal Futebol Clube were winning 1-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Baturhan Oytun in the 51st minute of play forced Florestal Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Raimundo Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturhan Oytun in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute José Paulo de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Chiriacescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Trancoso in the 88th minute of play. Vladimir de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Raimundo Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mete Gøl, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Raimundo Braga was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Raimundo Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Vladimir de Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Braga. Florestal Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimir de Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The Florestal Futebol Clube players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented PIAUÍ FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
