Rosendo Gervaso started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Nilson Leite made a precise shot to the right of Karl Martin Bell Burnell. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Leite in the 8th minute of play forced Desportiva Paulo Afonso's goalkeeper Karl Martin Bell Burnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Juventus EC's Leopoldo Perez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Martin Bell Burnell was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Fabinho Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desportiva Paulo Afonso's protests and gave Fabinho Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Desportiva Paulo Afonso:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Juventus EC:s goal. Desportiva Paulo Afonso:s Karl Martin Bell Burnell showed great skill when he stopped Oséias Pontes:s penalty. 15 minutes into the game, Juventus EC's Oséias Pontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Arí Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Karl Martin Bell Burnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Gervaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Juventus EC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Desportiva Paulo Afonso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oséias Pontes took the corner. Bilbo Arzube showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Beltxe in the 27th minute of the match. Juventus EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oséias Pontes in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosendo Gervaso in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Martin Bell Burnell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamílton de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bilbo Arzube having to interfere. A collision led to Desportiva Paulo Afonso getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Fabinho Cabral hit a great ball. Fabinho Cabral was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 44th minute, Fabinho Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Rosendo Gervaso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Martin Bell Burnell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Juventus EC's Walmyr Loyola was substituted for Rosendo Gervaso. After the first half Juventus EC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamílton de Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmyr Loyola got free with Karl Martin Bell Burnell in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 played minutes Desportiva Paulo Afonso got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho de Andrade. The supporters of Juventus EC booed when Desportiva Paulo Afonso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristiyan Pirkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Walmyr Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Karl Martin Bell Burnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Leite in the 64th minute of play forced Desportiva Paulo Afonso's goalkeeper Karl Martin Bell Burnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fran Yeste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Edu Antunes was substituted for Ethan Rushmere. Juventus EC's Bilbo Arzube played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Antunes in the 73rd minute of play. Karl Martin Bell Burnell came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus EC's Nilson Leite. But to his dismay, Nilson Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Bilbo Arzube took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88thth minute of the game Walmyr Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Karl Martin Bell Burnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilson Leite scored 0-8 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Martin Bell Burnell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nilson Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Martin Bell Burnell having to interfere. Juventus EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
