Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Floresta Negra FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais got control of the ball when Bjørn Ironside tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Maicon Mattos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Audax Metropolitano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresta Negra FC the free kick. Floresta Negra FC's Alexsandro Mandrak was substituted for Hector Bazkoare. In the 42nd minute Poul Stanković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Chus got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bjørn Ironside. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Clube Audax Metropolitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyryl Dziechciowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Bjørn Ironside made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egun Pais was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clube Audax Metropolitano made a substitution. Alfredinho Rosa replaced Emanuel Esteves. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Eriberto Netto was substituted for Pedro Prestes. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjørn Ironside, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Lokon Pøhl was slow to take the kick. During this time Floresta Negra FC's players had a chance to rest. Santo Lano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Lewandowski in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Eriberto Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eriberto Netto came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Clube Audax Metropolitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Netto couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Lewandowski came free, but Santo Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clube Audax Metropolitano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Floresta Negra FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
