In the 33rdth minute of the game Gabriel Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C. Galera's Juvenal Zanette was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, 狄昆傲 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C. Galera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Relyn Futebol Clube's zone, 狄昆傲 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gino Velasco came out of the goal and 狄昆傲 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 狄昆傲 made a kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C. Galera's goalkeeper Juvenal Zanette, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juvenal Zanette. Juvenal Zanette yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 60 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when 狄昆傲 came free, but Gino Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. E.C. Galera's Bruninho Furtado was substituted for Kryspin Bronicki. Relyn Futebol Clube's Genaro Valdemoro was substituted for Qu Jun Fan. Relyn Futebol Clube's Ademar Meirelles was substituted for Michael Åkerström. Namık Kemal Baytüze made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Raimundo Faria. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Relyn Futebol Clube's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Galera's supporters crossed their fingers, but 狄昆傲 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Genaro Valdemoro hit a great ball. E.C. Galera's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
