Dagoberto Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guilherme Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Willian Guerra hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Dagoberto Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Mendonça having to make a save. With a little luck, FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça got control of the ball when Dagoberto Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Lucio Morningstar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guilherme Mendonça. Lucio Morningstar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Guilherme Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Morningstar got free with Guilherme Mendonça in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC St. Pauli's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vahit Ergüç was slow to take the kick. During this time Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Dagoberto Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça got control of the ball when Lucio Morningstar tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Vahit Ergüç got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guilherme Mendonça quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Guilherme Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Monico went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, FC St. Pauli's goalkeeper Guilherme Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Morningstar. Guilherme Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Cayetano Monico recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guilherme Mendonça. Cayetano Monico showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Guilherme Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Dagoberto Moraes sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 66th minute Cayetano Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cayetano Monico made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Albuquerque was substituted for Gilson Matorin. In the 75th minute Cayetano Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC St. Pauli getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Eduardo Moreno hit a great ball.
