Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Moraes in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Eduardo Moreno notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Valentin Bernal. Valentin Bernal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC St. Pauli's Pedro Luiz Trevisan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC St. Pauli players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ were winning 1-4.

Guilherme Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Milko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 53 minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Igor Milko made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Milko in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 66thth minute of the game Igor Milko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cayetano Monico in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC St. Pauli's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC St. Pauli's zone, Dagoberto Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guilherme Mendonça came out of the goal and Dagoberto Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Monico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Guilherme Mendonça made a huge save. Cayetano Monico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guilherme Mendonça came out and tried to block the shot, but Cayetano Monico slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 80th minute. Cayetano Monico in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guilherme Mendonça, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Cayetano Monico took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Guilherme Mendonça to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Cayetano Monico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guilherme Mendonça. That made the score 1-10 in the 89 minute of play. Guilherme Mendonça was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Cayetano Monico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cayetano Monico really showed his touch with that goal: 1-11. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ played a much better game than FC St. Pauli and deserved their victory. The FC St. Pauli players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
