After 3 minutes, Carlos Alberto Saraiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OFFLINE and the Cöpacabana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, OFFLINE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Genílson Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, OFFLINE's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Brudnicki came free, but Marcelo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Dobromir Brudnicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marcelo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. During the 16th minute of the match Dorian Loureiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dorian Loureiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 17 played minutes OFFLINE got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Loureiro. Marcelo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Marcelo Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Brudnicki in the 19th minute of play. Marcelo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Brudnicki in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Vito Leite notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of OFFLINE's Marcelo Branco. Marcelo Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. OFFLINE's Marcelo Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Leite in the 25th minute of play. Dagoberto Loureiro went to the wrong direction when Luís Paulo Ortiz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Marcelo Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Brudnicki in the 32nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Dobromir Brudnicki put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Branco. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dobromir Brudnicki in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, OFFLINE's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Brudnicki came free, but Marcelo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vito Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Marcelo Branco made a huge save. OFFLINE's Marcelo Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save OFFLINE from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Brudnicki in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Branco saved OFFLINE from getting behind. Cöpacabana FC's Stig-Åke Benet was substituted for Vito Leite. In the 66th minute of the match Cöpacabana FC got a corner. OFFLINE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Talha İstanbul ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Stig-Åke Benet managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 69 minutes into the match, OFFLINE's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Benet came free, but Marcelo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the OFFLINE defense, Dobromir Brudnicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Branco. The OFFLINE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Branco should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, OFFLINE's goalkeeper Marcelo Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Åke Benet. Rafa Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dagoberto Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Stig-Åke Benet got in the 81st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marcelo Branco handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Talha İstanbul recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Branco. Talha İstanbul showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 94th minute Dobromir Brudnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Branco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dobromir Brudnicki went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score.
