In the 3rd minute Abdelbassir Cestarolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alysson Rezende made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Abdelbassir Cestarolli sent off a good shot on target. Reynaldo Cestarolli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cavalera in the 8th minute of play. Patrick Matorin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Cestarolli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Cavalera in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Igor Cavalera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cestarolli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cavalera in the 23rd minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cestarolli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Cestarolli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reynaldo Cestarolli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Cavalera's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cavalera in the 40th minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cestarolli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Abdelbassir Cestarolli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cestarolli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelbassir Cestarolli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alysson Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Cavalera was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cestarolli FC's zone, Igor Cavalera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Cestarolli came out of the goal and Igor Cavalera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Igor Cavalera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Cestarolli. Cestarolli FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Cavalera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Luizão Cestarolli kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Luizão Cestarolli got a free kick in the 66th minute. Reynaldo Cestarolli came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera. But to his dismay, Igor Cavalera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Igor Cavalera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cestarolli FC's Bebeto Cestarolli was substituted for Abdelbassir Cestarolli. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Marco Minnemann replaced Igor Cavalera. The Ogro F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
