An unexpectedly hard shot by Bülent Ulunay in the 11th minute of play forced Nubecitas FC's goalkeeper Christodoulos Karabogias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Frans Overdiep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christodoulos Karabogias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bülent Ulunay, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Peng Qian Kun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nubecitas FC's Christodoulos Karabogias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Nubecitas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Wu Lei Chen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christodoulos Karabogias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bülent Ulunay in the 37th minute of play. Peng Qian Kun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Canyelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christodoulos Karabogias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cain Canyelles got free with Peng Qian Kun in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Valleslona F.C.'s goalkeeper Peng Qian Kun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélder de Lara. Cain Canyelles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Valleslona F.C. booed when Nubecitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cain Canyelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Nubecitas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nubecitas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
