When Feng Xiang Bin fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bembenfica's protests and gave Feng Xiang Bin a yellow card for diving instead. Laurențiu Gaciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alípio Rego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Soveral's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Exército Português's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
