Jairo Malheiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jairo Malheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Beto Sola made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Jairo Malheiro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Radiohead Freaks Club getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Roger Bålström hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Fausto Preuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCSB CUENCA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Radiohead Freaks Club the free kick. The supporters of Radiohead Freaks Club booed when FCSB CUENCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Preuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radiohead Freaks Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Noe Seedorf in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Noe Seedorf got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Beto Sola quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 28 minutes into the game Noe Seedorf kicked a great long shot which passed Beto Sola straight ahead into the goal, Result 3-0. One couldn't see Noe Seedorf behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. In the 34th minute of the match Radiohead Freaks Club got a corner. FCSB CUENCA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Noe Seedorf ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcio Carreira in the 35th minute of play forced Radiohead Freaks Club's goalkeeper Thom Threepwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beto Sola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Malheiro in the 36th minute of play. Beto Sola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Malheiro's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Thom Threepwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcio Carreira in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcio Carreira to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Radiohead Freaks Club's zone, Americo Olivar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thom Threepwood came out of the goal and Americo Olivar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Fausto Preuss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thom Threepwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beto Sola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Malheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radiohead Freaks Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Noe Seedorf in the 64th minute. Radiohead Freaks Club's Roger Bålström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Beto Sola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Jairo Malheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beto Sola was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Thom Threepwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcio Carreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Cayo Mario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FCSB CUENCA's Beto Sola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayo Mario in the 79th minute of play. Marcio Carreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Thom Threepwood made a huge save. After 94 minutes, Salbatore Colillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCSB CUENCA and the Radiohead Freaks Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Salbatore Colillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Radiohead Freaks Club were the better team. Radiohead Freaks Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
