The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Domingos got free with Geronimo Argi in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Maraschin in the 31st minute of play forced Lima Team's goalkeeper Francisco Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saúl Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute André Maraschin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute LVCVS AVGVSTI were awarded a corner. Shi Sha Quan went to the cornerflag to take it. Caetano Assunção tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Francisco Infante. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

LVCVS AVGVSTI's Gaudencio Olle was substituted for Felix Orlan. André Maraschin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 72nd playminute.
