The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rubén Urruti came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Benficajuvestars's Jerry Nykvist. But to his dismay, Jerry Nykvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rubén Urruti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Moczkiewicz in the 9th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Auriolam II C.F.'s Miguel Godoy made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Patrício was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Godoy scored 2-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Patrício, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 21 minutes, Salvador Vilas Boas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benficajuvestars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Vilas Boas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Godoy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 24th playminute. After 27 minutes of play, Auriolam II C.F.'s Francesc Balmaseda made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Patrício was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rui Patrício made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Francesc Balmaseda sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Benficajuvestars's Rui Patrício got control of the ball when Miguel Godoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Jerry Nykvist sped through Auriolam II C.F.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rubén Urruti. In the 42nd minute Miguel Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Patrício saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Auriolam II C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelayo Mendez to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.

Miguel Godoy scored 5-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Patrício, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rubén Urruti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Vilas Boas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Godoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Patrício read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Jerry Nykvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén Urruti having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Auriolam II C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Dan Gigas. After some careless play in the Benficajuvestars defense, Miguel Godoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Patrício. The Benficajuvestars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Patrício should have stopped the shot. Rui Patrício took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesc Balmaseda in the 78th minute of play forced Benficajuvestars's goalkeeper Rui Patrício to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Benficajuvestars's goalkeeper Rui Patrício, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Benficajuvestars fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Benficajuvestars:s Rui Patrício showed great skill when he stopped Gabri Gutierrez:s penalty. With a little luck, Auriolam II C.F.'s Rubén Urruti got control of the ball when Ziemowit Moczkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cayetano Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Cayetano Pagomari hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ziemowit Moczkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Rubén Urruti made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Auriolam II C.F.'s Cayetano Pagomari got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Auriolam II C.F. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
