Juventus FC's Mansour Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Barral in the 11th minute of play. Mansour Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Mansour Chiellini made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Anko Arias however managed to control. Sabino Marrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Lajos Révész made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Geovani Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Fuerteventura's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mansour Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Arenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th match minute, UD Fuerteventura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constancio Llinares to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Rolando Arenas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Arenas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Arenas in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Juventus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Claris Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mansour Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claris Quiroga to strike the kick off in the second half. Claris Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Mansour Buffon made a huge save. Ştefan Negrilă made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Geovani Barral immediately put the ball in play. Claris Quiroga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mansour Buffon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mansour Buffon made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Claris Quiroga sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute of the game Mansour Chiellini made a throw-in which Anko Arias played forward. 69 minutes into the match, UD Fuerteventura's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Arenas came free, but Lajos Révész reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to UD Fuerteventura getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ştefan Negrilă hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes UD Fuerteventura got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Negrilă. In the 82ndth minute of the game Sabino Marrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Fuerteventura's Lajos Révész was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Arenas in the 84th minute of play forced UD Fuerteventura's goalkeeper Lajos Révész to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral in the 85th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mansour Buffon was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Juventus FC through an amazing save. Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mansour Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Barral came free, but Mansour Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Arenas in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lajos Révész saved UD Fuerteventura from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Claris Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Mansour Buffon. Juventus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. UD Fuerteventura made a substitution. Ismael Munoz replaced Basilio Quintero. The UD Fuerteventura supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UD Fuerteventura would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
