An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Rivas in the 21st minute of play forced Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper Gong Yong Nan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fetiyerd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Francisco José Millán scored to the left of an out of position Montes Quevedo, making the score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Kenneth Heise put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gong Yong Nan. With a little luck, Fetiyerd's Montes Quevedo got control of the ball when Francisco José Millán tried to sneak it across the goal line.
