Elian Benedicto started the match with the kick off. Gomesano Cayuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Pepe Toxeiro made a huge save. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Celta de Vigo from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Rubén Blanco got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Nestor Araujo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Antonio Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Villawalter City's Antonio Canal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Arias in the 25th minute of play. Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Arias in the 29th minute of play forced Villawalter City's goalkeeper Antonio Canal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepe Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mino Puig in the 33rd minute of the match. Pepe Toxeiro came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Villawalter City's Mino Puig. But to his dismay, Mino Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 39 minutes into the game, Zbyszek Kapinos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villawalter City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Club Celta de Vigo the free kick. Zbyszek Kapinos hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Everardo Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Canal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Real Club Celta de Vigo got a corner. Villawalter City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guillermo Marin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Guillermo Marin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antonio Canal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 47 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gomesano Cayuela.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Arias was the one to do the kick off. Sebastián Olivarez hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Pepe Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mino Puig in the 60th minute of play. Everardo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute Everardo Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Everardo Arias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Canal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Arias in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Canal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Everardo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sebastián Olivarez fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villawalter City's protests and gave Sebastián Olivarez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Sebastián Olivarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Canal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everardo Arias in the 74th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Mino Puig notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro. Pepe Toxeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Tapia came free, but Antonio Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Renato Tapia made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Canal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renato Tapia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Villawalter City's Antonio Canal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Tapia in the 90th minute of play. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Renato Tapia got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Renato Tapia got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Club Celta de Vigo were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Villawalter City's much stronger midfield.
