Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Ronaldo in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Ronaldo in the 24th minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepe Toxeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U Alcaravaneras's Bassam Wahbi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save U Alcaravaneras from getting a goal against them. In the 47th match minute, U Alcaravaneras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jos Decremer to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lionel Ronaldo made a kick off. Ferman Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Pepe Toxeiro made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Lionel Ronaldo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Ferman Torres got a free kick in the 57th minute. Lionel Ronaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Pepe Toxeiro made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Oscar Valcarcel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U Alcaravaneras made a substitution. Lancelot Vera replaced Jacobo Ponte. Bassam Wahbi came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Renato Tapia. But to his dismay, Renato Tapia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.
