The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gregory Bermejo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Petrulean in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vaccean Warriors's Patxi España got a free kick in the 13th minute. Gaskon Gimeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Dante Chapel made a huge save. Naldo Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Petrulean in the 20th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Guilabertus Martinez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vaccean Warriors's Telo Papo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nicolae Petrulean blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Naldo Roig having to make a save. In the 38th minute Vaccean Warriors were awarded a corner. Telo Papo went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Petrulean in the 42nd minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Nicolae Petrulean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Roig was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henric Villaquiran to strike the kick off in the second half. Picanya FC made a substitution. Ramón Valcarcel replaced Ugaitz Silva. In the 61st minute of the game Baltazar Zaplana made a throw-in which Baldovino Saura played forward. With an all-out effort, Vaccean Warriors's Naldo Roig threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jesus Jesus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 65 minutes into the game, Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Chapel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 70th minute Gaskon Gimeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Chapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Petrulean came free, but Naldo Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran got a free kick in the 74th minute. Vaccean Warriors made a substitution. Tano Di Paolo replaced Nicolae Petrulean. Tano Di Paolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Naldo Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tano Di Paolo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naldo Roig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Vaccean Warriors booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Verdaguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Chapel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaskon Gimeno went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Dante Chapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Bermejo in the 90th minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Jonathan Reina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vaccean Warriors's Dante Chapel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vaccean Warriors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
