The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernest Ştati showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rareș Vanghelie struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ernest Ştati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rasnita. In the 15th minute Rareș Vanghelie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Ştati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rasnita were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horaţiu Chelbea took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Rareș Vanghelie heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Flavius Ferenț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Brânzaș in the 24th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Toacsen made a kick off. Flavius Ferenț made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ionuț Nicolescu sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Toacsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Ştati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cunea came free, but Ernest Ştati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Lipan came free, but Flavius Ferenț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavius Ferenț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Nicolescu in the 65th minute of the match. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horaţiu Chelbea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alex Cunea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ionuț Nicolescus short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Flavius Ferenț to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
