Petruț Arapașu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Voicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hunor Csapó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Bădila in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Buffalo Timişoara's zone, Eusebiu Banica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hunor Csapó came out of the goal and Eusebiu Banica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petruț Arapașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Zbora in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Bădila came free, but Hunor Csapó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Zbora in the 34th minute of play forced ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Petruț Arapașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Boris Becker hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Zbora to maneuver through the defense. Constantin Bădila did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hunor Csapó 38 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantin Bădila made a kick off. Petruț Arapașu made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Valentin Voicu sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Valentin Voicu took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Petruț Arapașu to make any attempt to save it. Marin Tufescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Petruț Arapașu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 60th minute Marin Tufescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Arapașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 62nd minute, but Petruț Arapașu got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ hanging dry this time. 64 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Bădila came free, but Hunor Csapó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match, Ignacy Cerocki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Petruț Arapașu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hunor Csapó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Pricop in the 70th minute of the match. Cristian Pricop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Gigi Stanciu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hunor Csapó narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Buffalo Timişoara's Valentin Voicu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petruț Arapașu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Ionică Buculeasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Benny Škriniar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicu Udroiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hunor Csapó. Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
